2009 - V8SC Townsville & IRC Russia
12th July, 2009
Northern Queensland hosted the inaugural Townsville 400 V8 Supercar meeting in what can only be described as a carnival event much alike the Clipsal in Adelaide. The Intercontinental Rally Challenge headed to Russia without Championship leader Kris Meeke. The entire Kronos team had elected not to attend the Vyborg based event.

2009 - WTCC Portugal

A fast street circuit mixed with bright sunshine for practice and qualifying, torrential downpours for warm-up, a greasy track for race one and and a warm dry track for race two - all meant that we should be expecting some fantastic racing from the World Touring Car Championship in Portugal.

2009 - WRC Poland

Poland greeted the World Rally for the first time since 1973, when Adchm Warmbold won in a FIAT 124 Spider Abarth. The location had changed since the 70's base of Krakow, and now found home in the Polish lake district town of Mikolajki.

2009 - WTCC Czech Republic, IRC Belgium & V8SC Hidden Valley

The WTCC moved to the picturesque Moravian circuit of Brno in the Czech Republic. The Intercontinental Rally Challenge moved to the world-famous Ypres Rally, a specialist asphalt event favoured by the Belgians much like the Scandinavians favour Rally Finland. The V8 Supercar Championship moved to Hidden Valley for its first outing since the departure of CEO Cameron Levick.

2009 - WRC Greece, BTCC Croft & The 24 Hours of Le Mans
14th June, 2009
An amazing mixture of international motorsport events took place. The notoriously tough Acropolis rally was the destination of the WRC, whereas the BTCC moved to North Yorkshire's Croft circuit. Many eyes were focused on Le Mans and the 77th running of the 24 Heures du Mans, the worlds most famous motorsport event.

Latest - Cameron Levick Resigns

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of V8 Supercars Australia has resigned. Cameron Levick becomes the latest high profile member of the V8 Supercars organisation to resign in a week, following Category Technical Director (CTD) Campbell Little out of the door.

2009 - BTCC Oulton Park, WTCC Spain & V8SC Symmons Plains

A whole host of tin-top action took part around the world this weekend. The British Touring Car Championship went to Oulton Park in Cheshire, the World Touring Car Championship was at Valencia and the V8 Supercar Championship visited Symmons Plains in Tasmania.

Sardinia was the setting for the latest round of the World Rally Championship. This event has seen some massive accidents in recent years, and has the ability to catch even the best drivers in the world out.

2009 - WTCC France & BTCC Donington Park
17th May, 2009
The historic street circuit of Pau welcomed the World Touring Car Championship to France during an event which would provide talking points for sometime to come. Donington Park surprised many as it was granted the a racing licence by the Motor Sports Association, meaning the British Touring Car Championship meeting would go ahead on a circuit which always provided top class racing action.

Latest - Ferrari to exit F1 if Budget Cap is Implemented

Ferrari have today announced that they will not compete in the 2010 FIA Formula 1 World Championship season, if the proposed budget cap system comes into effect.
